Kitty Clara- crochet fairy cat

This cute kitty faerie is named after my own black kitty Clarabell, who was my model as I was designing the pattern.

She's crocheted from black acrylic yarn in my own pattern (the first animal pattern I ever designed, too!). Her wings are some sort of mystery yarn (acrylic, I think, but could be partly wool) with pipecleaners crocheted around the outside to give it shape. (The design for the wings came from a fairy doll pattern by [link].) Her eyes are shiny yellow safety eyes by [link]. She's wearing an orange ribbon with a bell- my kitty has a bell, so I thought this one should, too. This doll also has a yellow plastic star fabric glued onto her cheek and her whiskers are thin black wire.

She's about 7 1/2" (19.1 cm) tall from the tip of her ears to the bottoms of her front paws.
