Leaves of the Woodland Earring

This earring was inspired by Mirkwood in "Lord of the Rings". I've always been attached to that forest, even while it was filled with evil creatures; I decided to make this earring dark in green and black, but with silver and light green leaves to show that darkness never lasts.

This is a single chain earring/ear-piece that connects from the earlobe to the upper cartilage of the ear, with a pierced post earring on either end.

The ear-piece is made using enameled copper wire in green and black. At the end of the ear-piece are a plastic leaf charm, a silver-colored metal leaf bead, a round black plastic bead, and a round green glass bead. The earring parts are two silver-colored metal post earrings. The entire ear-piece is 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) long from top earring ball to bottom bead, and is 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) long from earring post to earring post.

And before anyone asks or assumes- no, I am not and have never been a Legolas fangirl. If anything I fangirl Thranduil; I've just been attached to Mirkwood since I was six when my dad first read me The Hobbit. My alias involves "Greenleaf" because "Thranduiliell" was too long and difficult to spell. Just wanted to clear that up.
