Ratri's Night Sky Necklace

One of my friends came up with the name for this necklace when I was stumped as to what to call it; she said that it reminded her of Ratri, a Hindu goddess of the night, and I think that's a perfect name for it.

This necklace is crocheted from black hemp cord and is strung with red and black beads in glass, plastic, and fabric (most of these are plastic, however; only the center large heart bead is glass).

The entire necklace is about 37" (94 cm) long (including extra cord to tie with where it isn't crocheted), but the crocheted, thicker part is about 23" (58.4 cm). You tie the necklace in the back, so it can fit any size neck, and can be worn tighter or looser (personally I usually wear this style as a loose choker).

This can also be worn as an anklet!
